My experience at Encounter God was life changing. I would say that one of the most life changing would be that I was introduced to the Holy Spirit. I had always known the work of the Holy Spirit and what the Holy Spirit could do but had never experienced the Holy Spirit personally in my life. He is now a new friend that I am getting to know. He is my constant companion. I also now know God’s voice. I would sometimes think that maybe some of the things that came into my head were my own thoughts. I now know when it is my own and when the Holy Spirit is speaking to me. I understand Him and we are growing in our relationship. I was also able to witness many people’s lives healed. Inner healing, generational, soul ties and past sins forgiven and lives healed. And no glory whatsoever was given to the facilitors. There was no way they could get the glory because it was not them doing this but Christ in them!! Jesus was empowered by the Holy Spirit to heal the oppressed. There was physical healing but I believe most of Jesus’ healing was inner healing. After the weekend and seeing so many people’s lives healed from their oppression, I understand now why people crowded to see to Jesus. People reacted the same way during the weekend, longing for an encounter with Jesus and yearning for healing. Acts 10:38 says And no doubt you know that God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power. Then Jesus went around doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the Devil, for God was with him.” Since the Encounter God weekend God is still working and moving. I have had the honor of using the Healing Pattern weapons and see people healed in the name of Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit. I have received boldness like never before too!! I’m excited in what God has done, is doing and will continue to do in Encounter God. I tell everyone about Encounter God who want to hear and am eager for the next weekend and the amazing work God will do in people’s lives.
